Please send an email with the subject line "White Paper/Issue Brief" if you would like to publish with us. Along with a quick introduction of yourself, your email should contain a recommended title for your work.

We request you to wait for our team to respond to your communication before proceeding with submission.

Click to Know the Details of Format Available With Us PUBLICATION FORMATS FORMATS OF PUBLICATION 1. White paper (specified word count: 5000–6000) White papers are lengthy research documents that resemble journal articles. It must be grounded in in-depth primary or secondary research, exhibit high academic rigor, and concentrate on subjects with important policy ramifications. The authors are required to provide two 350-word summaries that highlight important points covered in their work. The White Paper and these will be released as blogs. Authors will be asked to participate in Policy Seminars hosted by BNSK, which may include certain White Papers as fundamental materials. Submissions exceeding 6000 words will not automatically be classified as a White Paper. If the Editorial Board assesses that a submission is more appropriate as an Issue Brief, the author’s consent will be obtained before proceeding with publication. For the review process, White Papers undergo a stringent peer-review evaluation conducted by the BNSK Editorial Board, which is chaired by senior research fellows and includes assessment by at least one external expert through a blind review process. Authors will receive detailed feedback for any necessary revisions before final approval. Once revisions are incorporated, the drafts go through thorough copy-editing and plagiarism checks to ensure quality and originality before receiving final clearance for publication. 2. ISSUE BRIEF (Specified word count: 2000-3000 WORDS) An Issue Brief is a concise research document intended for the timely dissemination of insights on pressing policy matters. Issue Briefs should be succinct and must not exceed 3000 words, inclusive of charts, figures, and notes. Authors are required to submit a 250-word summary emphasizing the policy significance of their work, which will be published as a blog alongside the Issue Brief. Selected Issue Briefs may serve as foundational discussion papers for Roundtable Sessions organized by BNSK, where authors will have the opportunity to participate in expert deliberations. Review Process: Due to their time-sensitive nature, Issue Briefs undergo an expedited review by the BNSK Editorial Board and, if deemed necessary, are evaluated by subject-matter experts. Unlike White Papers, these submissions do not follow a full blind review process but are rigorously assessed for accuracy, policy relevance, and clarity. Following review, drafts are subjected to comprehensive copy-editing and plagiarism screening before receiving final approval for publication. Submissions that lack appropriate references or citations where necessary may be declined.
