About The Event
The fourth episode of the BNSK - Bharat Samvad Policy Dialogue Series for Inclusive India will focus on the critical intersection of healthcare access and livelihood generation in India’s urban slums and remote rural communities.
This session, titled “Healthcare and Livelihood for All: Grassroots Solutions for Slums and Rural India”, seeks to spotlight innovative, low-cost models and policy pathways that integrate health services with employment opportunities, with a particular emphasis on marginalized populations.
We are honored to host Shri Mukund Deshpande, Managing Director of JVD Mettle Innovations Pvt. Ltd., as the keynote speaker. A distinguished innovator and mentor, Shri Deshpande has made significant contributions to India's healthcare landscape, notably through his pioneering work in human milk banking, which has benefited over 3.2 lakh newborns.
