Inaugural Session – Shram Samvad Sangam 2026
The Inaugural Session of Shram Samvad Sangam – 2026 sets the intellectual and policy tone for a day-long Workshop-cum-Dialogue dedicated to labour empowerment in India’s evolving socio-economic landscape. Organised by Bharatiya Neeti Samvad Kendra under the aegis of the Poonam Kumari Foundation, in collaboration with V. V. Giri National Labour Institute, the session brings together eminent thought leaders, policymakers, and practitioners from the labour and governance ecosystem.
The session features a keynote address by K. G. Suresh, Director of India Habitat Centre, offering a broad national perspective on institutions, dialogue, and democratic engagement. The Guest of Honour, C. K. Saji Narayanan, noted thinker, author, and former President of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, brings rich insights from the workers’ movement and grassroots realities. The session is chaired by Arvind, Director General, VVGNLI, ensuring an institutionally grounded and policy-relevant discourse.
