Synergy Between Institutions for Labour Empowerment

Plenary Session–I, titled “Synergy between Institutions for Labour Empowerment,” is designed to examine the critical role of institutional collaboration in advancing labour welfare and effective governance in India. As the country transitions to the framework of the New Labour Codes, the need for coordinated action among labour organisations, regulatory and safety institutions, industry stakeholders, and academic bodies has become increasingly important. This session seeks to explore how these diverse institutions can move beyond isolated functioning towards a collaborative ecosystem that ensures worker protection, workplace safety, skill development, and social security, while also supporting compliance and sustainable economic growth. Through this dialogue, the session aims to bridge policy vision with ground-level implementation by fostering trust, shared responsibility, and continuous engagement among key stakeholders in the labour ecosystem.
