Special Session–I focuses on “Tech-Driven Transformation: Labour–Skill–Welfare Integration under the Framework of the New Labour Codes,” and seeks to examine how technology can act as a key enabler in strengthening labour governance and service delivery. As India moves towards digital governance models, platforms such as Shram Suvidha, Shram Setu, and integrated labour databases are redefining the way labour compliance, skill mapping, welfare access, and grievance redressal are implemented. This session aims to explore the convergence of technology, institutions, and policy to ensure transparency, efficiency, and inclusivity in labour administration. The discussion will highlight how digital tools can bridge gaps between workers, employers, and the state, while ensuring that the benefits of the New Labour Codes reach workers at the grassroots level in a timely and effective manner.
